Privacy Policy — OfflineClipper

Last updated: 2026-07-05

OfflineClipper is a private, on-device video utility. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

No account, no cloud, no tracking

OfflineClipper has no user accounts and no backend server. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no analytics or advertising SDK.

Your videos stay on your device

Importing, frame scoring, clip detection, and export all run entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device frameworks (Vision, AVFoundation, PhotoKit, Core Image). Your videos and the clips you export are never uploaded anywhere. Videos you analyze may be downloaded from your own iCloud Photo Library to your device so they can be processed locally — this is between your device and your iCloud account, not the app.

Purchases

The optional OfflineClipper Pro upgrade is processed by Apple via StoreKit. Apple handles all payment information and billing; OfflineClipper never sees your payment details. The app only reads Apple’s entitlement status to unlock unlimited clip exports. The subscription auto-renews until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings; a one-time lifetime purchase is also offered. Purchases are subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
